Cornlee is perfectly located as a base to explore Wensleydale and Swaledale on foot. 

We can provide details and maps for a number of interesting walks over a variety of distances to suit all abilities.

Walks can include places of interest such as Aysgarth Falls, Bolton Castle and Semerwater and / or attractive towns and villages such as Askrigg, West Burton, Bainbridge, Hawes, Reeth, Keld, Muker and Gunnerside.

The Herriot Way is a popular four-day circular walk through Wensleydale and Swaledale, traditionally starting and finishing in Aysgarth. 

Cornlee is also conveniently located for stops on The Centurion Walk, John O'Groats to Land's End, The Inn Way, Lady Anne's Way and The Alternative Coast to Coast.
