Cornlee Guest House is a charming Victorian property, built in
1899 situated in the picturesque village of Aysgarth.
We offer high quality accommodation, breakfasts and evening meals.
Our three guest rooms are individually styled, furnished to a high
standard and have flat screen television with Freeview and DVD player.
Cornlee is annually assessed by VisitEngland and is 4 Star accredited with Silver Award assuring you of quality accommodation with high standards of service and hospitality. We also hold 'Walkers Welcome' and 'Cyclists Welcome' accreditation, and in 2011 we received the VisitEngland Breakfast Award confirming the high quality and varied choice of our breakfast.
We are located at
the eastern end of Aysgarth Village, overlooking the village green
around which there is ample free parking. The village has a tea room and
two public houses. Aysgarth is located in the heart of Wensleydale
and is the starting point for many walks, including the popular Herriot
Way, a 52 mile circular walk taking in the sights and scenery featured
in the books of James Herriot. We are just half a mile away from
the picturesque Aysgarth Falls. We are also ideally located for
visiting the historic Yorkshire towns of Richmond, Ripon, Harrogate and
York.
A warm welcome is assured with afternoon tea and homemade cakes served
on arrival.
