Centrally situated in the Heart of Wensleydale, visiting Hawes, Leyburn, Askrigg, Richmond, Harrogate, Ripon and York, our Yorkshire Dale B&B is ideal for exploring this beautiful area. Aysgarth village is the starting point for many walks, including the popular “Herriot Way”, a 52 mile circular walk, talking in the sights and scenery featured in the books of James Herriot. Cornlee is also a short walk away from the picturesque “Aysgarth Falls”, which have attracted vistors for over 200 years. Cornlee’s location also allows for day trips West to Cumbria or East to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough and Goathland, the location used in the filming of TV series “Heart Beat”. We don't offer an evening meal, but the fabulous George & Dragon Inn within walking distance of Cornlee has a restaurant, bar and warm welcome or why not try one of a number places to eat within a short walk or drive and enjoy the local atmosphere the Dales have to offer. Cornlee is situated at the Eastern end of Aysgarth Village, overlooking the village green, which offers ample free parking for guests.
